Zenn’s lessons are extremely different from other tutors as he is able to make learning extremely enjoyable while still getting the job done. Personally I feel that it is very rare to find such a teacher, as many of them are either too focused on making the students learn the information required for exams and cut out all the fun or too relaxed and do not allow the student to learn effectively. This is something that I find unique about Zenn’s lessons which I particularly like. He tries to be more like a Friend than a typical teacher which I feel allows the student to be more open to asking questions and actually understanding all the concepts. Personally I am usually too shy or scared to ask other Teachers questions as I am scared that I will be looked down upon or even scolded. However, with Zenn, it is a completely different story where I am able to freely clarify any doubts that I have. Another thing that stands out about Zenn is that, because he is more like a Friend that a teacher, I’m able to confide with him about any other external problems I am having when I just need an adult to talk to. In my opinion this is Super important in any teenagers life as they might feel very lost on what to do but at the same time are afraid to consult their parents, so it is a good thing that Zenn is able to act as a guiding path for students not only academically but also in terms of any personal issues being faced.

Zenn’s lessons are very fun and he makes concepts that I don’t get easier to understand by using analogies. He takes time out of normal classes to clarify any doubts we have and is very patient when explaining to me my mistakes when doing a question. He is very encouraging and cares not only about my grades of the subject he is teaching but also other subjects that I’m struggling in. Before coming to ADVO, I’ve been getting constant F9s and I’ve never thought of getting a grade higher than a pass, what’s more an A1. However, Zenn believed every single one of us were capable of getting an A1, and this encouragement helped me to set an even higher goal for myself to achieve. Zenn is both a friend and a teacher as I’m able to talk to him about things that are outside of tuition stuff and share with him my problems. He is always there to lend a pair listening of ears and provides good advice to any challenges that I might be facing. All in all, I’m very thankful and grateful to Zenn and ADVO for helping me through this O level journey and for making this whole studying process so enriching and enjoyable.

During Zenn’s lessons he would share his personal stories or experiences to spice up the lessons so to keep students interested and attentive. One thing I like about Zenn’s lesson is the fact that he would draw a lot of diagrams to help he’s students to visualize what he is teaching. He would often repeat himself so to make sure that students can catch up to what he said and not fall behind . Zenn to me is more of a mentor , he would often go out of his way to text me questions and to ask me if I have any questions . He is very friendly during class time , making it very easy to approach him if I had any questions / doubts. Zenn taught me to believe in myself and be more confident. He believed in me since the start that I would do well and indeed , I’ve improved a lot , from a C6 to an A1 in Physics. I would like to thank Zenn for guiding me through my O level journey as he as put in a lot of time and effort to not only teach me ,but to teach every single student in his class.
