What are your values in life?
The common replies I get were usually “eeehhhh…. I don’t know leh. What are values hah?”
In fact that was my very first reply when I was asked this question.
Look through the interviews of any successful people and you will find that they can answer this very fast and easily in their interviews.
Why so? Because these values are the guiding principles in their decision making.
Everyone of us has a set of guidelines we placed upon ourselves. When we have to make a decision, our mind will refer to these guidelines. However these guidelines are usually in a very vague and blurred form, and that’ why decision making is so tough. When we are clear of our values that we value most, making decisions become easy, because the decision is correct as long as they do not contradict your values.
