Recently I have a class.. the students were doing worksheets assigned by me.
One of the students called for attention when she faces challenge. As I approach her, the classmate sitting next to her offer help and attempt to explain to her.
However, she rejected… I want to listen to xxx’s (my name) explanation.
I was impressed! Not coz she wanted my explanation but for the fact that she knows if she wants true advice, she needs to seek the right person. The person with the area of expertise.
It made me think of something that I heard lately… If you want to be successful, mingle with and talk to the successful people. They will show u the way!
So students and fellow peeps.. the next time you need help, look for the correct people. =)
