Throughout my decade of coaching and working with students, I notice a trend with students who generally do not do well as they do not understand the power of their results. When I ask these of students about their results, their normal answers are “I can’t remember”, “So long ago” and “I really don’t know” etc… It is normal for students who do not do well in their subjects to “throw away” their report in one corner and hope to forget their results. This is what I term as avoidance or the failure to face your results.
My question to these students is how can you know how you can improve if you do not know where you are now or you avoid to face your results and say yes, I did badly. How can I go from here? The solution to this is simple! Just face it, admit it and realise the power of your results. Your results are the best reflections of how well you are doing now!
Only when your realise the power of your results, you cannot change it by just avoiding it. So let’s all of us face our fears and move towards them to create the results we truly deserved! JIAYOU!
