I think I am going to start a new morning routine. Today when I got out of bed, I raised my arms and shouted, “MX5!” The Mazda MX5 is my dream car, and every day I will use this visual-auditory-kinesthetic action to remind myself what I am getting out of bed for.
It’s partially Power of Attraction, but of course just chanting “MX5″ every day will not change anything. I must also have a plan to carry out so that one day, after I shout “MX5″, I can go downstairs and get into the same car. There’s nothing magical about it. Let me break it down step by step:
In order for me to buy the car, I must achieve a certain amount of revenue.
In order for me to achieve a certain amount of revenue, I need more students.
In order for me to coach more students, I must bring in more students.
In order for me to bring in more students, I must do evaluations, do previews, attract more referrals and chase down leads.
To do all the above, I must overcome my fear and doubt and just keep focusing on my target.
If I have to stay back after hours to do evaluations, so be it.
If I have to work 7 days a week, so be it.
Because in the end, when I get into my car, put the top down and feel the wind in my hair, it will be totally worth it.
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
