This has been an exciting weekend for me.
(1) I am officially an Amma hugger! lol
Well… I was passive in taking this action. As there is something very repeling about this activity which I shall not elaborate here.
Nonetheless, it was an interesting experience. I was told beforehand that there are many people who break down after being hugged. My conclusion is that the lady really hug everyone whole heartedly and she will chant a prayer for everyone afterwards. She did it out of pure love for the world.
My take back is that everyone can do it! Its just the intensity of our intention and effort.
If everything we do is 100%, the energy vibrates!
On saturday, while I was having the last lesson of the day, 2 of my ex students came back to visit me.
I was delighted! She walk towards me and I move forward.. naturally we wanted to embrace each other and we hugged! I am a hugger too! haha~ nah.. I did it cause I missed her and I really wanted to receive her with warmth. It feels good and I am sure she is happy too. ^^
(2) I went Mac Ritchie for a nature walk after I left Advo on Sunday noon.
We practically travelled 12 km on feet. Which most people will be “impressed” if they know the amount of time I allocate to exercise. haha~ Indeed, my feet was aching by the end of the day.
It was fun! The 4 of us started off the trail and I was getting bored when we were travelling up slope so I decided to speed up and before I know it, when I turned back, my friends were gone… Coz I wanted to get to the tree top walk and it is supposed to close at 4.45pm. So I decided to move on ahead. Some joggers surpassed me and I surpassed some who were walking… I didn’t speed up, I merely maintained my speed of walking. The only thing that was on my mind was my breathing and every step I take. I recognized that it is a reflection of life… Will we slow down or even forgo our dreams because of people around us? While we maintain our pace, there will be people who will surpass us in life and yet as we maintain our pace, we will surpass people who are slowly down. Every step we take counts.
Finally I reach the clearing… I thought I was there yet there are still few kms away. So I decided to pause and call my friends (now that my mobile finally received the signal). I waited for them to catch up in few minutes’ time before we head on. The final path was a stretch. The slope is very steep. We push one another upwards and joke around to diverse our focus. Finally at 5pm! We reached the top and the nice security guard waited for us before closing the gate.
We completed our mission for the day and the view is spectacular.. I never know singapore has such nice views also… These are some of the pictures we took…I love the walk out the reserve…. (which will be continued in my next post before you peeps get turned off by this long post of mine)
Here are some teasers for the next post…

Nice view

Peace
