Mini’s finally here!!! The whole anticipation, and now, it’s actually in my life!

The whole AdvoGang went down to the showroom to get my cooper, it was amazing! Two cars to receive one, totally rocks! Thank you guys! The whole scenario built up to the point when all were pointing to a specific red cooper outside the showroom, insisting that that was my car. Looking from a distance, that could not be it as I was suppose to have 2 cute white stripes on my bonnet. On closer look, lo behold, the car plate was 2386 (read: ADVO) – that’s my number!! It turned out to be quite anti-climax as they had forgotten to put on the stripes and I had to send the car in for the cosmetic upgrade the very next day! Dang…..gua gua gua.

Well, at least I get to experience the drive in 2 designs

All in all, it was a fantastic experience. The excitment is still lingering. When I was driving this morning to get the stripes on, it felt good. It’s not really just about me. I realised that through the pursuit of this dream car of mine, I am able to bring to the people around me, a different experience (you should take a look at my parents’ faces…haha, and SY’s excitment to be the FIRST passenger). The excitment and joy is shared and amplified.

As one of my student put it “I just saw your cooper! It’s so awesome (even without the stripes) congrats! Another item off your goals for 2010!” My sincere wish and urge is for everyone of them, to also check off the A1 for Os and A for As in their dream list. In fact, for all those around me, to pursue in the direction of what they would love for themselves, joyfully and relentlessly. Ganbatte!
