Learning from a bike trip…

Last week, I went cycling… and half way through the journey, the terrible thing happened. The bicycle’s chain jammed and I can no longer cycle. Disheartened, I pulled my bike to the pavement and started to repair the jammed chain. Having no tools, I looked around for sticks and leaves to hold the chain. Do you have experience with a jammed chain? Its not easy if you dun have some metal tools. I did sticks holding the chain, then using the leaves to hold and pull the chain. Almost half an hour, still no breakthrough. On the verge of giving up and pushing the bike all the way back…. somehow new found determination came and came a new way getting the jammed chain out. I hooked the free chain onto the bicycle’s gear and use the force of the gear to unlock the chain… to my surprise, suddenly the chain broke loose and my bike is back! :) After that, my hand is greasy from the lubricant on the chain, however I felt happy that I did not give up.

So what do I learn from this?
1) Never give up! Do all it takes… you might be 1 step away from success
2) When things become hard and you persist, a New Idea will come along the way to guide u
3) Nature has ALL THE TOOLS you need to fix a bike. :)

Haha… Have fun experiencing with problem in life and you will find great joy! Connect with nature… imagine using leaves to repair the bike…

That’s all for now! folks!
