A Reason for Everything

Have you ever wonder there is a reason/story behind everything?Everything happens for a reason, and that includes every child’s behavior.A lot of time Teachers/Parents wonder why my child is behaving in this manner. How come the attitude and results are not changing? It must be the child’s fault. So they start to scold the child, ground him, deprived him of leisure time etc. However, the outcome is usually that there is no improvement in the condition. In fact, it simply gets worse. At this point of time, Teachers/Parents may choose to just give up.

I used to take this path in the past and I keep facing the same problem over and over again.Recently, I gain insight into this.

First, I learnt that everything happens for a reason. If the child is misbehaving or having attitude issues, there must be a cause for it.

Second, please do not push all the fault to the child.I believe no child would choose to be unhappy and gain disapproval of parents, teachers or people around them.Instead of penalizing the child, find out how we can help them? Our role as Educator is to identify the cause and continuously explore new ways and means to let the child see light and get out of the plight he is in.

Finally, to achieve this we have to patient. We never know which individual or action will result in the change. There is no definite way for every child. Just like the safe, there are different combinations for different safe.Someday, someone, somehow, something will happen and create the change.

If Parents/ Teachers lost faith and choose to give up, who else can help the child?
