Ken's delivery is different as he encourage linking and rewriting concepts in short form which makes it easier for us to remember certain facts and formulas that we need to know and memorise.

Advocators has mainly helped me improve the quality of my life in two major aspects. First of all, is my academic studies. The methods to study and apply it on questions were abundant and useful in contributing positively to my academic results. Secondly, I was really motivated to study as I noticed how much easier things become with the one-page concept maps. At first, I was skeptic towards going for tuition. After attending Advocators Education’s program, I changed my perspective of ‘tuition’. Lessons here are fun and lively with a very high energy level. Imparting the relevant knowledge and skill for the exams and also teaching us the 1 page concept maps have definitely aided me in my studying. From having a failing mentality, I have changed to have an A1 mindset. “A is easy!” It has boasted my confidence greatly in my O level examinations and for future examinations. Besides, the coaches here also give me valuable advices in dealing with challenges, motivating me at times when I am down. Learning at Advocators has made an impact in my life. Even though its focus is on Additional Mathematics, the things I learnt there can also be applied to my life. It boosts my confidence and that is one of the keys to success. Before GCE ‘O’ levels, I had never passed my A Math exams/tests. Even my Elementary math was not that strong. So, I joined Advocators Crash Course (A Math), hoping it would make a difference in my marks. It did! Yes, I did not get a distinction for A Math but, to me, a jump from F9 to C5 was a great success! And even though I did not apply for the E math workshop, I achieved A2 for my E Math at ‘O’ levels. I would like to thank my tutor, Yew Kiin, who has been helping and coaching me within the short period.

Advocators has help me to achieve distinction in my A Math for my “O” level. My grade has improved from B4 to A2. I did not have the confidence to get distinction for A Math before my tuition with Advocators. After attending the AMPR course, i learn things from “The Secret” which we watched during the course. Firstly, ask for what you want. Secondly, always believe in it and you will finally receive it. Advocators has help to build up my confidence for me to take my “O” level examination. Advocators always improve on their teaching methods and strategies to help students to achieve distinction. Advocators has helped me a lot in terms of my A math as well as shaping my character. I have been failing my A math since Secondary Three. Ever since joining Advocators this year, my A math has improved tremendously. I got F9 in my Mid-Year Examination and that was before I joined Advocators. My grade jumped from F9 to C5 in my Preliminary Examination. And in 'O' Level, I got A2. This will not happen without the help from Advocators and most importantly my mentor, Yew Kiin. Yew Kiin has made A math easier for me by imparting me the steps and skills needed to solve different types of questions. Also, without his patience guidance and the long hours he sacrifice just to help me, I wouldn't have gotten A2 for my 'O' level A math. Advocators has also helped build up my confidence through their encouragements for me. In their care, I have also learn new things such as “Put yourself in the feeling place of being in that outcome that you want” Thanks Advocators for making what I am today. A is Easy, Let's do it.

This workshop has taught me never to give up and to treat failure as a learning process. I've learnt that I and only I can change my destiny. The obsticals in my way are set by me and only I can take them away. I must also set goals in order for me to aim high. The food was also good. I've also learn to plan my future so that I can live the life I want.

The workshop has enriched me in many aspects of my life. The trainers have an interesting method to drive their message into your mind hence retaining what they have said is not much of an issue. With the newly attained knowledge, application was not much of a probem and hence it has benefited me into improving my grades.

"Firstly, we would like to thank Advocators, in helping Nadzirah in her A-Maths. Her lack of understanding in this subject resulted her in getting a consistent “F” in every test. However what made a difference in her CGE “O” level was our commitment as parents in helping and motivate her during her preparation for her exam. This led us to Advocators. After the short interview, we decided to sign Nadzirah up for 2 weeks crash course. This proved to be fruitful as she suddenly showed improvement in her A-Maths. Her school teacher even noticed of this sudden improvement and it motivated Nadzirah to do better. In her GCE ‘O’ level, she managed to get C5 for A-Maths and A2 for E-maths. This is a great achievement, especially from an “F” grader in Maths. This workshop has benefited me in many ways. I've learnt that we rememeber things better when we make our own notes, in comparison to using notes printed out by teachers. I also realise that in addition to making our own notes, writing different key points/topics in different colours stimulate the mind, and thus again make it easier to remember important points. I've also learnt that my notes/mind maps need constant updating, especially if I encounter new types of questions (e.g. Math). Besides these, I now know that believing that I have an incredible memory helps in improving my memory. I tend to be a forgetful person, but all that was changed for the better. We've al been told that goals energise us, and I truly believe this. I know that by setting goals, we have to work hard in order to achieve them, and we also have to believe that we deserve to achieve our goals. Overall, I think the workshop is great and highly beneficial to everyone who attended it. Different strategies have been shared, and fun games were also included. I've learnt much more about study habits and what my personality is like in this workshop.

My A Math had jumped 4 grades from my prelims till O levels. Thanks for everything. You have indeed made a difference. Hope tha you took another step closer to reach your aim by 20th August!

Yew Kiin is able to make math doable! Breaking down nonsensical numbers and figures into proper steps that I could follow very well. The chapter reviews and guidelines were very helpful and I was able to follow it instead of trying to read my notes. The simplified methods and flexible time schedule that he was willing to accommodate for me really enabled me to cope well with my studies and my hectic cca schedule. More than just a tutor, I got my A and a lot more insightful thinking and viewpoints from Yew Kiin. Math was never difficult when he was around! Thanks for everything!

It's been a wonderful experience when i was in advocators, getting to know Ken. He has helped me through my Combined Science, Physics & Chemistry, using a 'mind-map' method. By using visual skills, he guided me on how to memorise in an effective way. By applying those skills he taught, i can easily solve questions in an instant! Although its just a short one-month preparation, I feel that i have make a difference in this subject, from scoring a C6 grade to an A2 Grade!!! Without Advocators i wonder what my grade will be..... Advocators has helped shape my life and my character throughout my one and a half years with them. Before I joined Advocators, I was a timid and shy girl who did not have much self-confidence and courage to believe in my dreams. Advocators has changed me a lot, be it my academic results or my confidence in meeting new people. I started Physics tuition with Advocators in Secondary 4. Prior to that, I was doing poorly for Physics, failing my end of year examinations in Secondary 3.
